Participants gain the tools and confidence needed to navigate adolescence, dream big and have the confidence to be themselves. The faith-based lessons cover important life skills such as leadership, community engagement, emotional intelligence, nutrition and goal setting. Small group mentoring creates an inclusive and positive environment and non-competitive physical activity is used to set goals and build self-worth.  With sites throughout the Fargo-Moorhead region, BIO Girls has served more than 700 girls since its inception, with 350 served at 10 regional sites in 2017.
